LaCroix Precision Optics is pleased to announce the promotion of Kirk Warden to President of the company, effective July 2, 2018. Ray LaCroix, Jr., who has served as President since 1985, will assume the role of Chairman of the Board.
“This is an exciting new chapter for our company,” says LaCroix. “After 57 years with the company, it was time that I put in place the planned succession strategy for the company. I know Kirk will do a great job, and we are confident about the future of LaCroix Precision Optics under his leadership.”
Raymond LaCroix, Jr., has been active in the company since 1961, and has served as President since the death of his father Raymond LaCroix, Sr., in 1985. In his new role as Chairman of the Board, he will continue to participate in corporate strategic planning and provide counsel to the President.
“I am honored to be named President of this great family-owned company and fully appreciate the importance of continuing the successful traditions that Ray, his father, and the outstanding employees have established over the last 71 years,” remarked Kirk. “Our industry is vital to everything from national defense to medical breakthroughs and many other exciting emerging technologies. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to guide LaCroix’s leadership position in the precision optics industry.”
